Trying to accommodate a large family? This 7 bedroom and 3 bathroom beach house is large enough for 16 people. The seven bedrooms are:1 Queen, 1 Double/1 Twin, 2 Twins, Twin Bunk Set, 1 Queen, 2 Twins and 1 Double/1 Twin. Extended families are accommodated when the Barnett House TOP unit is rented in conjunction with Barnett House BOTTOM unit.

The Barnett House Top has everything a large family needs to enjoy their beach getaway but the layout with a great room is also delightful for smaller parties too! Life doesn't get any better when your sitting out on the large ocean front porch or when you are able to just walk down the stairs straight to the beach. There is a large fully equipped kitchen as well as a dining table large enough for the entire family. 3 TV's with cable or Roku, DVD, washer/dryer and central heat and air and free Wi-Fi. With a $200 "Pet Fee" you can even bring along your Fur-Baby! New refrigerator, refreshed interior Décor and Park-Style Grills added in 2022. Mattresses refreshed for spring of 2023! New for 2024: New Kitchen Floor, several new kitchen appliances and refreshed interior paint

"Fabulous, what more can I say? We have been loving The Barnett House since discovering it during the “re-do” in 1986. We had always stayed at family owned Cool Air Cottage next door and peeked in since it was open for construction and we had outgrown Cool Air. Everything about Barnett House is perfect. The over the top equipped kitchen is large enough for multiple chefs. One of our favorite things is the 1940’s table. We usually have 12 or so eating, a baby seat and a 1000 piece puzzle on it with room to spare. Each year we hope they don’t decide to sell as most others have so that we can continue enjoying another year,. Our grandchildren figured out just this year that it is not “our beach house”. See you for Long Beach week 2025!"

"This is a great location and is good for large groups with plenty of beds. The back deck is where you should spend most of your time when staying here. We arrived late and found there was one roll of toilet paper for the three bathrooms. I picked some up the next day when I had to sign paperwork in the office. So, be sure to take any common items you may need like a fan for sleeping as the bedrooms were warmer than the common area. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and dishware. Did not have any seasonings like salt or pepper, so bring or buy those. Good place to stay, but it's a little dated and felt like a rental house looking strictly at the bottom line. I'm a short term rental property owner and it's nice to provide simple amenities like box fans, Kleenex and a few things in the cupboards like food seasonings."

"This is a great place to visit the beach. Plenty of room and just a few feet from the beach. This house is just a few blocks off highway 17 which makes it convenient to just about everything. I highly recommend this house for a great beach vacation."

"We stayed here for a few days and had a great time. The house was as described and perfect for us. Beach access was amazing! The house is full of character and was a great place to put your head down and listen to the ocean."

"Check in and check out was a good experience. The dryer wasn’t working and though the mgmt company was prompt in sending maintenance the people they sent were not good and I would subcontract with someone else. The vent pipe was clogged. The first guy didn’t do anything and the second finally agreed that was the problem but said he wasn’t the guy who unplugged vent pipes. We unplugged ourselves well enough to get along. The mgmt offered to pickup and return laundry. So they attempted to be very responsive. The property is fairly rundown but was clean and is an excellent layout to house 16 people. We bought drop cloths at Lowe’s to cover the very old couch."

"The location is great, being right on the beach. The home is in need of updates, loose doorknobs, screens in need of repair for a couple. There were ants in the kitchen, we bought traps and they were gone in a couple days. Nothing that spoiled anything, we had a great time."

"It was a great location right on the beach. That was fantastic. It had plenty of rooms, very comfortable. Very close to everything. The only bad thing I could say is ceiling fans needed better cleaning. It was a little outdated but there is a very sweet reason for that. Had a great time there oct 2020"

"This was our first time to Myrtle Beach and we managed to land in a great location! The house had everything we needed for our large family. The kitchen was extremely well stocked with every gadget/pot/pan/muffin tin you might need. Two stove tops and 2 ovens allowed the cooks to spread out. Beds were clean but on the soft side. Bathrooms were updated. The outside screened in porch was the best room in the house! View and hear the waves while sitting on the rocking chairs. Perfect way to spend the morning or a rainy day. There was an issue with the washing machine, we called in the AM and it was fixed by dinner time. Very kind and responsive property management! One cannot beat the convenience of being ocean front. While this property is not luxury it is laid back, very clean and functional. We enjoyed our time there and hope to return!"
