Enjoy waking up and having your morning beverage from your covered deck or on the dune front sitting area along your private beach access walkway to the Atlantic! This Ocean Front Beach Home is well equipped and nicely furnished. Newer appliances, sofa's and mattresses. 2 Queen bedrooms on first level, each with 1 Twin bed and private baths. 3 bedrooms upstairs include 1 Ocean Front King with private bath. 1 Ocean Front Queen bedroom and another bedroom offers 2 Twin beds with shared bath. All bedrooms upstairs have ocean view windows. The open living and kitchen areas boast tons of light with large ocean facing windows to take in the island views. There is a convenient powder room off the main living area. An additional family room area upstairs is complete with TV and Queen pullout sofa. Private shaded parking underneath home with a hot/cold enclosed outside shower area. Beach life doesn't get any better than this beachfront home on the quiet West End of Holden Beach!

"What an amazing view to have for the week. The ocean and beach views are a favorite part of the stay here other than spending time with family. The house had some nice upgrades from last year. The short walk to the beach is wonderful when you have children and older adults. Can not wait until next year to come make more memories with family. Proactive is easy to work with and that helps to make the experience more enjoyable."

"Wonderful house that accommodated 10 family members comfortably. Great view and beach access. Big kitchen and kitchen table is wonderful for a larger group.. Most bedrooms are very spacious. Two living areas makes everyone happy. Would stay here again!"

"We had 4 different families come together and stay at this house. We had the best time. The house was comfortable and clean and had anything you might want for cooking, games, etc. there were several turtle nests near the house and we got to see hatchlings make their way to the water. It was amazing! The only thing we wish was different was that bath towels be provided. Amongst all 4 families with bath towels and beach towels, it took up so much room in the vehicles."

"The house had plenty of space for our extended family and the location on the water was nice, but there were many items that were broken or not up to what we’d expect from a house at this price point. We would not stay there again as there are many better options for the same price that are in far better condition. 1. The rental company ahs a policy that all dishes must be put away before checking out and not left in the dishwasher. Probably as a result of this, most of the dishes/utensils etc. we pulled from the cabinets and drawers were dirty and had to be washed before use. 2. The ice maker was not working, it tried to put out a few cubes every hour or so but needs repair. We bought our own ice 3. The chairs on the upper (bedroom) decks, all two of them, were broken and could not be used wo we could not sit out of this deck to enjoy the ocean view. 4. Most of the windows in the house are broken and do not stay open. We were able to get a few on the street side to stay open but most of the screens are ripped and let the insects in. One of the reasons we pay to stay on the ocean is to be able to sleep at night with the windows open to hear the ocean, we could not do that since the windows would not stay open. This needs to be addressed. 5. One of the twin box springs in the upstairs bedroom was flipped over, so when we tried to use the bed our son and the mattress fell into the box spring."

"It was a great week that included SeaTurtles hatching right in front of the house, dolphins joyfully swimming by as we gathered on the deck, sand castles and hours in the beautiful ocean. We had delicious meal around the big table, we played games, reconnected with each other and oh, how we laughed! The big plus was how close we were to the water. No long and hot journeys to the beach. It was right there. Thanks for sharing your home. The Proactive team was great!"

"I think this is the 5th year we've rented this house. We've stayed in several over the last 22 years with different rental companies. We love Proactive, and this house is our favorite! "From the moment you drive across the bridge entering the Holden Beach community the view is amazing. Bumble Beach home is a very well laid out beach house that allows most all the rooms a simply amazing view of the beach and ocean. From each ocean front bedroom or on either balcony, you can watch the sun come up and set … simply amazing this time of the year. The home is well equipped with any kitchen needs and the 1/2 bath on main floor is just great for the smaller kids. The balcony and deck have plenty of built in benches that allow quick access to get to the beach."

"My family came from the Midwest for a week to enjoy the beach and reconnect with the East Coast clan. Bumble's Beach was exactly what we needed. Spacious, plenty of bedrooms, televisions on both levels (great for two generations of viewers). The kitchen/dining area easily accommodated all eleven of us. If you're a cook, you'll love the kitchen; it's stocked with every pot, pan, or utensil you need. Being right on the beach was great, and when we encountered a minor issue with an appliance, the maintenance team was prompt, courteous, and professional. The only downside was lack of TV channels, especially right at Stanley Cup playoff time. On the whole, Bumble's Beach was wonderful; we would definitely book again!"

"We’ve been coming to Holden Beach for almost 20 yrs. This year was our first yr to rent through Proactive and we will definitely be return customers, in fact we have already put a deposit on the house for next year. The house was everything we needed for a reasonable price. We had 2 very minor issues come up during the week and a phone call to the friendly office staff and it wasn’t long before a very nice maintenance man quickly got things fixed. Everyone that works with them are completely customer service oriented and you can’t ask for a friendlier bunch. I highly recommend renting from them."

"Upon arrival we were very pleased with the house. When we raised the window blinds we were delighted with the view of the ocean and the sandy beach. We had a few questions and requests for PROACTIVE Rentals and true to their name they were very "proactive" and quickly took care of our needs. FYI - We just needed an empty trash barrel to use until the next trash pick-up. The week's weather was lovely until Tropical Storm Hermine rolled through on our last full day in the house. Even the storm proved to be enjoyable as it created a day indoors while watching the ocean churn and the wind blow. Again, PROACTIVE was on the property to turn over all the deck furniture for safety purposes. We were very comfortable. First trip to Holden Beach in 8 years, we love the peaceful low key lifestyle. Thank you!"

"What matters most to my family in a beach house is that it's clean, has comfortable beds, has furniture that isn't stained, has a nice porch with rocking chairs and has a separate living area for the kids to play in when they aren't on the beach. This house had all of the above! We loved that it was really clean! You must have a great cleaning crew! The furniture was very nice and the beds were comfortable. We didn't use the sofa bed, but it looked new. We loved the porch with rocking chairs and benches, and it was so convenient to have a deck off of the boardwalk to the beach where we could drop our chairs and beach toys without having to lug them all the way back to the house. The only negative, which really didn't bother us but thought I'd mention to be honest, is that the kitchen showed some wear and tear in the countertops, appliances and dishes. But it was very well equipped, and I'm sure it's on the list for some renovations. We would definitely recommend it to our friends"

"Loved the floor plan. The kitchen was large and functional, open to the family room and dining area. I was comfortable cooking there, which saved money and time spent going out to eat for every meal. The bedrooms were perfect for our group. We ended up having an extra couple (my daughter's in-laws!) and there was plenty of privacy for everyone. The upstairs den was also convenient to have a little quiet time. The BEST part was location! The beach was so close, you could run into the cottage for a drink or restroom visit without taking a big chunk of your beach time! We were on the beach every day, so it was more than worth the extra money to be oceanfront. There was adequate parking for three cars, without having to move cars for folks coming and going. You could fit another car or two, but it would probably involve playing musical cars a bit. I think I can speak for all our group when I say, "let's do it again!""

"We needed five bedrooms to accommodate our family for the week, and Bumble's Bee was a perfect fit. All family members commented on how nice the place was. It was clean and well-appointed when we arrived. The kitchen and eating areas were large enough for the 11 of us. The deck and balcony space were very nice, and the walkway to the beach was in good shape. The beach was plenty wide at high tide, and being able to get to the beach with a (grand) baby without crossing the street was a real plus. I would stay here again without question."
