"We had a fantastic vacation. There were 12 of us including 2 children. Home was beautiful! Huge windows all around the main living areas, lots of deck space and the pool was perfect! Cabana at the pool was great for those that didn't want to be in the sun and for our 7 month old grandson. The cabana had lights and a fan. Beds were comfy (even the twins). Beach was a very short walk down the road. Everything was very clean at arrival and we received a text that that house was available earlier than expected. We had to call for maintenance one time due to a tv in one of the twins that kept going in and out and they came the same day. We would definitely rent this home again. Views were like no other especially with this house not being oceanfront. You could see the ocean and sound from just about every room in the home. Any complaints we had were minor and things that would happen at my own home so not worth mentioning. Thanks to Shoreline Realty and to the owners of this lovely home. One of the best vacations we've ever had!"

"Clean, plenty of room, great views, great neighborhood, pool & hot tub were great also. Downhill walk to the beach so a little challenging of a walk back to the house for any elderly guests. We brought beach chairs but there were plenty of them, boogie boards and pool toys at the house. We had to make our own beds upon arrival, which we've never had to do before! Quick drive or bike ride into town. Had a great time!"

"We had a great stay at Duck Duck View! The name is accurate, from the top level, the views are absolutely amazing! The layout of the house worked perfect for us as we had kids ages 2-13, two families and grandparents. The pool, hot tub and cabana were enjoyed by all and the beach only about a 5-minute walk. Our only recommendation would be to have the basketball ball hoop repaired as it is really leaning. We had five avid players in our group that were disappointed in its condition and had planned some real playing time while there. Others than that, will plan to stay here again in the future."

"We loved our stay in Duck! The home was clean and perfectly stocked for our needs. We also had an issue where the line to the Dish had been damaged and our TV wasn't working at check in. I emailed maintenance after hours and they had someone out from maintenance and then the Dish company the very next morning. Thanks for a great stay!"

"This trip has a been a highlight for our friends and family. The Location/living areas were clean but the only reason I didn't give it perfect cleanliness was because the outdoor shower area needed a refresher, due to all the dead bugs and webs, and the pool sticks needed a wipe down since they were sticky. Other than that everything else was perfect. The staff responsiveness was quick. The walk to the beach was easy and very close. The pool was a hit with everyone in the party as well. The main living room was a sight to be seen! 360 views of the neighborhood in duck make this an amazing space to spend the morning in. The brightness and energy you get from the amount of sunlight in the room gave us so much joy. Thanks for the Stay!"

"We had a great time in this home. Check in went very smooth, and we even got to arrive earlier. The spiders on the deck were a bit much, but we read the previous reviews and knew it would be expected.. I don't believe this is the only house in the area with issues as the midges are bad at night; which in turn draw in the spiders. Could possibly recommend bug spray inside the home as there were different kinds of spiders inside. The pool and hot tub were serviced the day we checked in as well as mid week, huge plus in my book! The pool table was a hit during the night and the board games were an added bonus to keep the younger kids in our crew occupied. Any issues we encountered during our stay were handled promptly by contacting the maintenance email that was provided."

"The midges in the house the first couple days were rough. More than likely from the doors being left open from the cleaning crew. We werent able to enjoy the decks as the wooded area next to the house was infested with them as well as the carport. At night the hot tub and gazebo was tough to use with the lights on until we got some bug off candles. Dish washer went out so the last 2 days we hand washed. Overall though those are trivial things that on a different week i wouldn't expect. With a 2 minute walk to the sound and a 2 minute walk to the beach it was a perfect location. Plan to not go anywhere on a saturday as traffic is a mess. We would certianly rent again as there was enough space for everyone."

"This was our 5th stay at Duck, Duck, Views. We love this home and when there we feel as if we are at our own personal resort. Even on cool days the heated swimming pool and hot tub give us lots of outside fun. We also love the beach at low tide when the compacted sand make walking miles very enjoyable. Of anywhere we've stayed, this property is the most beautifully maintained, for instance, new living room furniture and mattresses, and the oven and the dish washer have been recently updated. Most of all, as the name suggests, the views cannot be surpassed. Spectacular - all day every day!"

"Unbeatable views from this "castle on the hill" This house is truly a rare find...it sits on a little hill so the ocean and the sound are seen all the way around! We felt like royalty looking out over our kingdom! Hot tub was perfect looking up at the stars/moon at night, the pool table was a huge hit with lots of equipment, family room has a wonderful huge sofa, we played board games in the sitting room next to the family room, wifi was reliable, loads of dishes/glasses, some beach equip. in car port, great appliances including clean washer/dryer. Some of the reviews mentioned spiders/webs...we noticed a few old webs w/ dead spiders only in the family room, could easily be taken down with a long duster pole. No screened porch for them to accumulate on, guess the owner took it down? All positive reviews from me, the only area for improvement would be the beds. The master bed was too hard for my husband and I, we prefer a firm mattress with a foam top. The 2 queen beds were great for our kids and comfortable. The single beds are in terrible shape, old, uncomfortable, torn plastic covers. I read that the owners are replacing some mattresses in 2021!"

"What stunning views! The positives: The pool, close walk to the beach, great shopping location, gorgeous and comfortable living room, the swivel chair, beautiful decks with ample seating, and of course, the views! The negatives: The sink faucet never got hot or cold, just stayed tepid no matter how long you let it run, the full bathrooms in the main level were all jack-and-jill style shared with kid rooms (translates to mess and no privacy), no king beds, and uncomfortable mattresses. All this being said, would I stay there again, YES! Also, check-in was at 4. As we approached Duck at 2: 45, wondering what we would do till check-in, the rental management called and told me our house was ready and we could check in early! I was so grateful for that call, our kids were DYING to get inside and pick out their beds. A wonderful stay to send out summer and spend time away during covid. Thanks again Duck Duck Views!"

"There were a few issues noted upon arrival that were addressed within minutes. I was actually surprised when a maintenance person showed up while we were still unpacking. Two additional issues were quickly addressed as well. The house itself was perfect for our family and had everything we needed. The children in the family especially enjoyed the pool, movies and games that were available. The living room furniture was very comfortable, which has not always been my experience in a beach rental and the sitting room was a bonus. The large dining table was just right for our family although it could use some new seat covers there were tears and holes in most covers. One of the queen bed frames and mattress was ready to be replaced, all the other beds were fine. I would recommend Shoreline and this house."

"We just wanted to take a few minutes to say Thank You. We enjoyed our stay at OBX again this year. We stayed in one of your homes for the first time. This was a shorter than usual notice to renting a home. Because of the shorter timeline, we gave in on some of our usual requirements. Sharing a bathroom with a teenager wasn't fun (for us). We did however enjoy the heated pool leftovers from the week before. Pool water was really nice through Thursday. Friday's rain made the ending a little less than idea, but we found other things to keep us busy. However what was a very happy experience was you and your staff. You helped us on short notice find a home. You made it easy to rent. Check In (Covid didn't help anyone here) was easy by phone. Our home was ready for the first time in 15 yrs before 1pm. The one small issue (MIDGES) was dealt with more quickly than anyone expected. We didn't find any issues worth reporting while there. Which allowed us to RELAX. Fortunately, for us, the home we have stayed in for many years has become available for 2021. With that said, we will certainly recommend Shoreline OBX for any friends who decide to come down to OBX. If at any time we find that we are not happy anymore with our usual weekly rental, we will be coming back to see you guys again. Thank You for your professionalism, tips and southern hospitality."

"Amazing home, location, views! The house had everything we needed, and plenty more. Easy beach access, perfect pool for hanging out, walkable location into town. We were spoiled, as there were only two empty nester couples taking full advantage of the multiple bedroom and bathrooms, well appointed kitchen with plenty of empty storage space for our goodies, and a nice tv for the start of football season. The only disappointment we had was FLORENCE the hurricane! Unfortunately we were evacuated after our second day. We look forward to getting back to Duck Duck Views to finish up our vacation, perhaps not during hurricane season:-)"

"Duck, Duck, Views was the perfect house for our group of 13. The views were fantastic and the walk to the beach was short. The pool, especially with colored lighting, was great at night. The house was perfect for us as well as the grand kids. The office staff was very helpful and the maintenance staff was fantastic. When there were issues they addressed them immediately. I really appreciated only negative point is the cleaning staff who "prepped" the home for the next tenant. The ceiling fan in the kitchen was caked with dust and if you moved a book on the shelf to read there was a lot of dust. I called about the many lights that were burned out. I feel that the cleaning staff should have checked that and then notified maintenance. The grill was not only very dirty but the tank didn't work. My son had to clean the grill and the wonderful maintenance man came immediately to address the problem. There was one broken cue stick which I notified the office of as didn't want to be charged for damaged items we did not cause. The lamp in the front foyer was damaged and should have been replaced. Maintenance replaced many of the burned out lights at the house including the porch light (necessary when going down stairs at night) and some pool lights. As a condo owner myself I expect my condo to be in perfect condition for our renters and expect it to be left in the same good condition. Any problems we are only a phone call away. We treated Duck, Duck, Views like our home or condo. To sum it up, we loved our stay in Duck and will surely return. Just ask the condo prep crew to take more time and check ALL. One bed wasnt made for the kids which we did but it was to have been done. The HDMI cord was smashed when we arrived which should have been noticed. Thank you for a perfect vacation and letting me check this off my bucket list."

"The property views were phenomenal. Loved the views, just the jaunt to the beach with the grandchildren was a bit of a process. The walk to the beach its ok, but coming back your hot, sandy and now you have to climb the hill with all of your beach accessories, we rented wagons which were a big help to the beach, but the climb going back, another story. The pool area couldn't ask for a better area. It was used everyday and every night, the grandchildren were happy with the pool. There were a few things that were a little upsetting but the views and the pool area soothed all of those little items."
