"Dear Beach Goer, If you have arrived at “Sand Trap, ” you will see that you are in a home away from home, but at the Beach ! They have thought of every convenience to make your stay incredible. From the well equipped kitchen and pantry to the outdoor grill, shower, bathroom and rinse off area; there’s plenty of ways to make a multiple family gathering easy to manage. From the many quiet downtime areas to put your feet up and unwind, to the spacious living room / dining room inside for all to gather together. The Pool and hot tub were crystal clear and the Tiki Bar in the yard made a fun themed party atmosphere. Plenty of seating and covered outside space in case it sprinkles. The gorgeous beach is a short walk away. The Lake was great to walk around, the stores and restaurants were close by (even to bike ride too) and plenty to choose from. We had a wonderful time and look forward to our next vacation in North Carolina at “Sand Trap”. Joe and Linda and family"

"We just are returning from our family vacation at the Sand Trap 8-19 to 8-26. What a well needed relaxing and fun time! The house really gave us ample space to unwind, we loved the hammocks on the decks- the bbq area with the covered porch and the amazing pool with bar. We spent countless hours swimming and enjoying the space. The house was well equipped - the owners really put a lot of effort in every detail! The beach was a short walk down the path and the weather was exceptional! We will be back for sure!"

"Our family stayed at Sand Trap in August 2023. Great family home, great amenities and great location. Plenty of bedrooms, comfortable sleeping for everyone. The family room and spacious decks were amazing. We especially loved the pool and Tiki bar area outside. The set up is nice and family friendly. Just a short walk to the beach and plenty of stores near by. We experienced car trouble while visiting and the owners were responsive and helpful, directing us to a nearby mechanic. Would absolutely stay again, and highly recommend this rental."

"The Sand Trap is an amazing home, in a perfect location, where the owners have thought of EVERYTHING a large group needs! It's a perfect layout for families with different interests and so much to do! Bedrooms are spacious and beds extremely comfortable. We loved the huge fenced yard, pool, hotub, outdoor shower, air conditioned bathroom! and the tiki bar is fantastic, making the backyard incredible. We loved the walkability to both the beach and the pond to see the turtles. Shopping is located very close by, we chose to bike to the store many times. You will not be disappointed renting this property, we will certainly be back!"

"We were looking for a relaxing, reasonably priced vacation by the beach for the 4th of July week. The Sandtrap made that possible and exceeded every expectation. The close and easy walk to the beach was a breeze thanks to the pull carts provided by the house. We carried everything we needed for a long day at the beach. Afterwards, we were able to BBQ and relax by the pool. The plentiful amenities outside included a bathroom, shower, hot tub, fridge, hammocks and plenty of games. The inside was equally impressive; clean, neat, spacious and comfortable. We had fast wi-fi for the kids to watch their devices and a nice large table for indoor eating or game playing. Plenty of rooms with comfortable beds made this the perfect place to stay. We will definitely be coming back. Thank you Sandtrap!"
