Vinyl plank floors...no carpet! New sliding glass door for the top deck, vinyl railing on both decks, bar in the game room with a full-size fridge, new king bed, new couch, chair, 2 sets of bunk beds, 2 new futons, all new ceiling fans and vents, 4 new TVs, (6 TVs total) new washer and dryer, new HVAC, new deck paint comforters, extra full-size fridge on the lower level, new living room furniture (plaid sofa in pics replaced with neutral sectional sofa), and more! Level 1: The ground level features a bedroom, full bath, and game room with a slider to the private saltwater pool area where you will find the hot tub and outside shower. There are also 2 futons in the game room for additional sleeping!

Level 2: The mid-level offers 3 more bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, and a washer/dryer.

Level 3: On the top level, you will enjoy the open great room, kitchen, and dining areas, as well as a king master suite and a powder room. Large wraparound decks are perfect for sunbathing, outside dining, or taking a nap in the shade!

"We had a great week at this house. We loved the location - easy trip to stores, easy walk to the beach! We loved the layout of the house — plenty of space, perfect number of bathrooms and bedrooms for our group. The pool area was so nice with grill and covered area and an easily accessed outdoor shower after the pool or the beach. The kitchen was well stocked - had everything we needed and more. The house felt comfortable and welcoming — loved the books in different areas and the colorful bedding. Also loved the multiple fridges — so helpful!"

"Our family enjoyed our recent stay at Cardinal's Cove. We had previously rented a home in Ocean Sands & loved the location. We chose this home because it met our bedroom & sleeping requirements perfectly. The pool was a definite bonus; however, the previous renters had left quite a mess in the garage & outside shower area. Patrick immediately addressed the situation on Sunday & answered the few additional questions we had regarding the rental. The only down side was the distance to the beach. Fortunately, we did not have any small children with us; but my husband & I are 84 & 76, & it was quite a long walk with beach gear to get to the beach. All in all, I would definitely recommend ShorelineOBX and will not hesitate to use them again in the future."

"Generally, the home was ok, but there were just things that were irritating. First, in the master bath on the 4th floor: Bath tub drainage was terrible, just about all of the towel holders (bars and the hand towel holders) fell apart, we simply snapped them back in place, but the screws need to be tightened. The sofa had stains that I actually ended up cleaning. We found nails around the pool, the Blackstone Grill was way too dirty to use. We were at the home for 2 weeks, we were advised that the pool cleaner would come on Saturday, October 2nd, but he never showed as a result, by mid second week, there was not hot tub chemicals left in the floating distributor. On an upside, the Kitchen appliances and Washer/Dryer were great."

"We had a great experience staying at this beach house. It was close to the beach front, had a great pool and was great for the kids. Some items would use updating which would make the experience even better. The kitchen teflon pots and pans have scratches which made them unusable and the knifes were dull and made it hard to cut food but our experience was great and we would stay here again."

"Our family had a wonderful stay at cardinals cove. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the supplies you’d need, the beds were very comfortable, the pool get amazing (we stayed late September so pool heat was crucial). The walk to the beach wasn’t long at all; however if you have little ones I’d suggest bringing along a wagon or stroller for them to sit in as opposed to walk. We pointed out a few issues with the property management company and they were more than willing to fix immediately. Definitely would reconsider coming back for future visits!"

"Cardinal's Cove was comfortable with many of the amenities we look for in a vacation home. We really enjoyed our stay. Access to the beach is a short, very easy walk away. The pool and hot tub were a great alternative to the beach when the winds were high or we wanted to avoid the crowds on the beach at prime times. The beds were comfortable and the room lay outs with more private rooms for couples and places where multiple children could have their own bed in one room were perfect for our family. appliances were fully functional. The balconies were perfect for enjoying morning coffee, afternoon reading, and late night star gazing. The management company was incredibly responsive when we called for help. The only concern we ran into was that, while the basic cleanliness of the home was great, it seemed the cleaning only hit the viewable surfaces in several places. We found half full beer cans behind TV's and lamps; food wrappers, toys and dirty clothes (not ours) behind the couch and dressers; and dirty dishes put back in the cabinets. Light bulbs were missing from lamps and the air vents were very dirty; however, we called the management company and they had the bulbs replaced and air filters changed ASAP. The comforter in one of the master bedrooms is too small for the king bed (likely a queen) and the pillow cases provided were too small for the pillows. We know owners and management companies have to depend on guests to clean up after themselves and the expectations for clean-up before leaving are very clear. A little additional inspection may be needed though as the people before us did not seem to clean up well. Overall, we would stay at Cardinal's Cove again without hesitation."

"This was excellent, my family and I had an amazing time. I think 10 was the perfect amount anymore we would have felt cramp. Very nice home and we used the pool everyday and enjoyed the porch area. I would just recommend a larger TV in the main family room. We had a movie night and TV was small compared to what is typical. Other than that amazing trip, will stay here again"

"Stayed a week at Cardinals cove. You can tell the recent work went into home. New floors throughout, vinyl railings on all decks, updated kitchen with new appliances, new outdoor grill. Nice pool area, solid fence for privacy and wind.aking area enjoyable everyday. A full arrangement of reading available. Are there a few things you would attend to. Absolutely but you haven't read the list on my own home. Remember this is vacation. Enjoy each day. Look for the good. We happened to be there during pipeline shutdown. Only.4 of a mile to Timbuktu. Walked to save gas for ride home, mind you I'm elderly and poor health. Met wonderful folks on each walk and stopped shared info and ideas. Hope you enjoy this house as much as we did"
