"We have stayed here every summer for the past 9-10 years. It's a lovely house. The kitchen is fully stocked with anything one needs, the beds are comfortable, there are plenty of beach chairs and sand toys. My only suggestion is this: if you don't like the rising sun to wake you, bring a set of portable travel blackout curtains. They can be bought from Amazon and are about $25/pair. They use suction cups to adhere to the window and provide great coverage if you don't want to wake up super early. My husband and I use them only at night, removing them when we get up. The house has easy, private beach access. There are so many excellent restaurants, activities, and fun shops in the obx and the house is situated in a perfect location for all of it."

"The home was excellent - best equipped kitchen ever - I have been renting beach vacation homes for 30 years - Miami, Destin, Myrtle Beach, Tybee Island - no other comes close to quality/quantity. The choice of furniture and layout of the home also great, well done by the owners, very comfortable. Back screened porch was a great place to have lunch, dinner get away from the TV. Beds where comfortable no problem sleeping. There were three of us at the house all adults. View as advertised. If you are getting beach equipment ahead of time don't bother with a beach wagon, no way to get that wagon up the stairs going over the dunes or those umbrella tables - no way to get those level. Pulling the wagon loaded up with equipment/youngsters, along the road to the public beach access, which does not have stairs, is a dicey situation with the traffic."

"This house met or exceeded every expectation - from the first walk up the steps (breathtaking view) to the tiny, thoughtful accessories they provided. We could even make pie crust and roll it out if we wanted. The kitchen was so well stocked and organized. "We travelled with 3 teens and this house was perfectly located. The kitchen was fully stocked with a blender, coffee makers, utensils, and lots of pots and pans. Even though this property is across the street from the beach it still has an oceanfront view! The laundry room is on the lower level so that was a bit of a pain but it was also fully stocked with everything you need for the beach! There were beach umbrellas, chairs, sand shovels, and toys. There are also 2 bikes to use, cornhole boards, and a little beach cart to take things to and from the beach. The house has puzzles, games, and a smart tv to make it easy to log into streaming accounts. The hot tub was very nice. Now for the few downsides. The walls are paper thin and you can hear easily from one side of the house to the other with doors closed. Also the list of things to do before you check out is extensive. I’ve never had to vacuum and unload the dishwasher before leaving a rental. So check out was a bit longer of a process. All in all though it was a great house."

"The house was perfect for our group of close friends and family. The kitchen is more stocked than any other house we have rented. The walk across the street to the beach is so short and saves so much time. The living areas are all very well kept and provided ample space and amenities for the entire group. The one thing I will say that could use improvement is the entrance to the beach. Comparing to other beach accesses, it could certainly use some renovation. The stairs were partially buried with sand and the wooden decking has been completely covered. Also the vegetation on the sides of the access is growing into the walking path pretty significantly, hanging up on the beach cart and taking up a good portion of the available walking space."

"Great house. Good proximity to beach and amenities. The house is very well stocked with kitchen supplies, beach supplies, games, appliances and well furnished. Nice decks. Good parking area and space. There is some traffic on the street between to house and beach - important for anyone with young children to note. View of ocean and sunrises was awesome. Definitely will go back in the future. Cleaning of bathrooms could've been a little more thorough, but all in all the unit was cleaned for our arrival. Really good set up for a family in need of 4 bedrooms."

"This is a beautiful, well kept home. We find new upgrades every year. The view really is beautiful from the front porch. The porch is covered so it's nice to just sit in the shade or out of the rain. This house sleeps 9 and there's enough space so that no one feels crowded. The kitchen is well stocked with anything one needs to cook or bake. This year, we did something different. I actually brought down most of our food items so we didn't have to go to the grocery store right away. A good cooler kept our food cold for the 2 day drive and the dry goods were in a laundry basket. The local grocery store is a complete zoo on the weekends so if you can at least bring a couple of days worth of stuff, it made life a little easier. Also, please note the restaurants are all currently very short staffed and as a result, some are closed two days a week or they close earlier than normal and some just don't seat as many patrons. We found it best to either call early and do carry out or go out to eat at the off times to get a table. If you are looking for a delightful place to stay in a good central location, this is your place."

"Our stay was amazing despite some unlucky weather. My first impression was this house was immaculate and so well organized. There were so many commodities I did not expect. The downstairs beach supplies, toys, and games were so great and such a timesaver for us. The beds were comfortable, the hot tub ran perfectly every night, and pretty much got an immediate response when I emailed for maintenance on the outdoor shower head. Someone came out to fix it quickly. Such a wonderful home! Thank you so much!"

"Our family loved this house! Everything was so immaculate and we were in awe of how well organized this house was and all the accommodations it came with. The room downstairs was full of every beach necessity imaginable, all we had to do was bring a bag and a towel! The hot tub ran perfectly every night, there were tons of games and toys upstairs for us and the kids, tons of dvds, even flashlights in the kitchen drawer we used to look for crabs at night. The maintenance response I will add, was even amazing. We couldn’t get the outdoor shower to work, and someone came out the very next day (I messaged in the evening) and fixed it no problem. This house was truly a dream. Thank you so much for our stay!"

"This property is amazing--especially for families with kids. The house has a wonderful layout and a simple, stylish design. And the location and views are incredible. But probably the best thing about the property is how wonderfully well-stocked it is and the thoughtfulness of the little details: From booster seats to children's books/games/puzzles to the loaded laundry room with every kind of beach toy and chair imaginable. For a family traveling with small children, it's such a relief to know that you don't have to pack all of the small things that you'd normally have to take to a hotel or other property. "Excellent location! Walk right out your door and the beach is across the street. We loved having our own private beach access too. The house is lovely. Very tastefully decorated and super clean. We were pleasantly surprised with the fully stocked kitchen including everything we needed. Also we enjoyed the hot tub on the rainy days and the use of the beach chairs on sunny days. We even saw dolphins swim by early in the morning while we were enjoying our morning coffee. Great beach too!"

"The house was perfect for our 2 families! Great view! Great location! We had everything we needed and more. We loved the deck and the hot tub, and the walk to the beach was quick and easy. Only 2 minor things - we ran into some large and small roach looking bugs. Saw maybe 6 or 7 total, and they really didn't bother us. The other minor thing was that the WiFi and/or data signal was in and out, even after we reset the router. But that didn't really bother us either. We hope to spend another week there next year!"

"This home is the perfect size for 2 families with small children. We shared the house with another family. Between our 2 families, we had 4 adults and 3 small children. The view of the ocean and beach is beautiful. The house is well stocked - all necessary kitchen things (we cooked a lot during the week), pillows, blankets, booster seat, toys, books, movies, beach things (chairs, toys, wagon). I've stayed at other rental properties and usually find some pantry staples like salt, pepper and olive oil. Note that these staples are not supplied. There is a road between the house and beach access. It's a very short walk, but there are times when the road is busy (something to keep in mind when you have small children). Overall, great house and we would definitely stay here again!"

"The house and the location of the house was perfect, the weather not so much. The house was recently updated. Very clean and more that what is needed for a great week at the beach. The only negative I can even comment on was the condition of the hot tub cover, it was split in two down the middle and was very difficult to remove and replace. Love the rental company app for android, provided great information prior to vacation and during the time we spent at the house. We had the privilege of meeting the owners on our arrival (we were allowed to check in early as long as we were ok with them being there to finish hanging an outside sign) and they really do care that those that choose to stay at their house have a GREAT experience!"
