This beautifully landscaped, gated resort community offers a wide range of amenities, making it an ideal vacation destination for all ages. As you enter the complex, a friendly guard at the entrance will assist you with parking passes and provide information about the area.

Gulf Shores Plantation boasts an array of activities to keep the whole family entertained. You'll find tennis courts, volleyball, a putting green, basketball courts, shuffleboard, and multiple outdoor swimming pools. Fire up the grill at one of the designated areas and savor a delicious barbecue. And when you don't feel like cooking, head over to the on-site Sassy Bass restaurant for a delightful dining experience.

The resort offers private, sugar-white beaches, natural sand dunes, and meticulously maintained landscaping, creating a picturesque paradise for relaxation and play. Kiva Dunes Golf Club and the excellent Kiva Dunes Restaurant are conveniently located next door, within walking distance, offering even more opportunities for enjoyment. Plus, you're just a short 15-minute drive from all the fantastic attractions that Gulf Shores has to offer.

Upon your arrival, you'll appreciate this ground floor condo, providing easy access and a partial view of the Gulf, as well as a delightful view of the pool. The master bedroom features a king-size pillow-top mattress, a flat-screen TV, and a private bathroom for your comfort. The guest bedroom accommodates four additional guests with a queen bed and a full bed. In the living room, you'll find an inviting Serta sleeper sofa complemented by tasteful decor. The well-stocked kitchen has everything you need to prepare delicious family meals. For added convenience, on-site laundry facilities are available.
Additional Information:

Gulf Shores Plantation 1140 does not have an indoor pool membership.
Every 3rd Monday of the month, Beebe's Pest Control will be on-site to treat this unit.
Parking passes must be purchased through a link provided two days before your arrival to secure parking.
Linens are provided; however, please bring your own beach towels.
The reservation includes a "starter set" of hand soap, one roll of toilet tissue per bathroom, one trash bag per trash can, and one roll of paper towels.
Policies:
Guests must be at least 25 years of age or older to rent.
Photo ID is required at check-in.
No smoking is allowed in the unit.
No pets are permitted on the property.
Boats and trailers are not allowed at this property.

"This place was great! It had everything you need for a comfortable stay. The location was amazing too, only being a short walk to the beach. "The location was great! We could watch our kids at the pool from the porch if we weren’t ready to join them quite yet and it was a 5 minute walk to the beach. One of our kids got sick so this was a nice feature. The unit was clean but old and could really benefit from a fresh coat of paint. The floors weren’t very clean and turned our socks brown. Plates and bowls were chipped but still useable. In the beginning we were told we had access to the indoor pool, but after arriving and asking for a key like our friends had from a different unit we were told we didn’t have access. We were actually told three different things by three different people but after about an hour on the phone the last person told us he would try to find a key. Finally, we got a key but no wristbands which are also required and we didn’t get the key to the pool until our 4th day of staying there. The key even had our unit number written on it! The weather was in the 60’s so it would have been really nice to have the pool key at the beginning of our trip instead of us calling them and telling us we didn’t have access. The master bath didn’t drain well and filled up half way every time we took a shower. They came out to fix it the next day and the maintenance guy was very nice! The hallway bathroom fan makes a really loud noise when it’s on and the internet isn’t very strong in the unit. The outlets were also difficult to use; when you plug something in it often falls out and you have to balance the plug so it doesn’t fall out. We were disappointed in the management of the property. Other units had keyless entry while on this unit you have to pick up and return the keys. A company also came by to spray for bugs while we were there but we weren’t notified at all this would be happening. We were also told to call the internet company ourselves about the internet not working because they were too busy. We manage properties for a living so unfortunately we felt a little like we were still at work during this vacation. The beach was also wonderful, very clean. You can rent an umbrella and two chairs for $40/day I think. You have to pay $20 for parking and Poole and Associates also charged a non-refundable deposit in addition to a booking fee that didn’t seem clear to us in the beginning. We thought the price was the price. For the money we spent, we would book somewhere nicer. We ended up leaving a day early."

"Poole and Associates were very kind and helpful with the entire booking process as well as checking in. I'd definitely recommend them to anyone and hope to go through them in the future as well! Location- We have stayed at the Plantation three times now and love it there. We like that it's a bit out of the way and not in the middle of everything. It's a nice, quiet, safe place to stay. This time there was some construction going on due to repairs being done still after the hurricane. Parking and loading/unloading weren't as easy as usual, but it wasn't too bad still. There are convenient carts to help with that. The plantation is great with all the pools and with this condo you also have access to the indoor pool which is very nice! Our children loved it and we had it to ourselves almost every time we went this time! The security guards are very nice and helpful as well! We always took the time to chat with them on our way back in from going out to eat and stuff. The condo itself was pretty nice. It's as shown in the pictures. The rooms aren't huge, but it wasn't too rough on our family of 7. We have children ranging from 2-13. Everyone had enough space to sleep and hang out when we were eating or just watching tv. There aren't many negatives about this place and none are worth mentioning here. We had a fabulous stay and would recommend this condo and the rental company to everyone!"

The pool was right outside our doors which was nice, beach access was so close just down the walkway, and there was an indoor pool the kids were able to swim in once it got dark. The people were very friendly and it was just enough off the beaten path to where the beach was never packed! Absolutely recommend!"

We enjoyed use of the pool and hot tub which were conveniently located right outside of the condo. The beach was beautiful. We can't wait to stay again!"

"This property was a great property to stay at. My wife and I had our children with us and thoroughly enjoyed the property... aside from some minor oddities (ie not lighting over the bar, wobbly patio chairs, and too soft king bed) the property was clean, comfortable and in a great location on the grounds of the plantation... which for us is the perfect location near gulf shores and foley. With access to pools and multiple board walks we spent our days in the sunshine and went for dinner and activities in the evenings. We'll certainly add this to our lists of properties to stay at again in the future."

"We really liked Gulf Shores Plantation and our unit. We chose the bottom floor because we have 3 young kids - made it easier to get our stuff in and out, plus we felt the kids were safer. We were right by the pool, which was great, and it was very well maintained. The boardwalk to the beach was only a few steps away. We ate at Sassy Bass one day, which was nice to have a restaurant on property. We went with a group of 20, and each family was able to choose the unit that best suited them, but there were enough common areas to meet up. The only negative is that our unit could have been cleaned a bit better, especially the kitchen and dining area - we found crumbs and pieces of cereal on the floor. The bathrooms and bedrooms were cleaned well though. All in all, it was a wonderful vacation and a great value for our money."

"Our family of 5 from northern MN thoroughly enjoyed our week long stay. The condo was decorated so nicely. The beds were all very comfortable. The facilities at the resort were all wonderful. The patio overlooks one of the outdoor pools which our family enjoyed several times, even in November! The walk to the beach was short and enjoyable. We felt safe here as well with the security booth as well as roaming security guards keeping an eye on things. We are already making plans to return next year! (Wish we could stay forever!)"

The condo is actually in Fort Morgan, but is only 12 miles from Gulf Shores which after you drive to town to Wal-Mart etc, it really is not bad at all. Very relaxing getaway."
