Description

Gulf Shores Surf and Racquet Club offers the best of both worlds with access to the Gulf of Mexico's sugar-white sands on one side and the serene Little Lagoon on the other. Enjoy both options for relaxation and fun, as the complex offers a range of amenities, including a pool, hot tub, tennis courts, shuffleboard, and grilling areas. You'll also find a boat launch, boat slips, and parking for your boat trailer.

Wi-Fi is available in all public areas, including the pool, docks, and beach.

This one-bedroom, one-bathroom condominium sleeps up to four and is located on the 6th floor, offering a direct Gulf view from the kitchen, living room, and balcony, and a Lagoon and pool view from the bedroom. The unit includes free private Wi-Fi and a new 70" flat-screen smart TV with cable, Netflix, Hulu, and more. The living area features a queen-size sofa sleeper, and the fully equipped kitchen includes all major appliances. The dining area has a table that seats four, and there's also seating at the kitchen bar. The master bedroom has a queen-size bed and an elegant shower. A stacked washer and dryer in the hall closet adds convenience to your stay.

Policies :

Parking passes are handled on-site by the association, with charges applying.
Boats and/or boat trailers require a separate parking pass for $20.
Linens are provided; please bring your own beach towels.
The reservation includes a "starter set" of hand soap, one roll of toilet tissue per bathroom, one trash bag per trash can, and one roll of paper towels.
Additional Information:
Guests must be at least 25 years of age or older to rent.
Photo ID is required at check-in.
Smoking is not allowed.
Pets are not permitted.

Use the new "B" elevator on the west side or the new "C" elevator on the east side of the complex, depending on the location of your rented unit. Parking passes can still be purchased in the lobby of "A" building.

"Upon arrival at Gulf Shores Surf and Racquet Club, I took off my sandals and immediately noticed a considerable amount of sand on floors. No broom was available, so I wet a face cloth and wiped a small area in main room and it was filthy with dirt. It made me wonder when the last time it had been mopped. It was very gross! The rest of the condo was very clean. I did not contact Poole Vacation Rentals (property managers) immediately as I should have. I waited a day and half. In any case I emailed Angila Sarvold (who is in charge of housecleaning for Poole -) about the condition of the floors and in reply received an unprofessional response. I can provide email exchange if needed. In the future I will definitely try to avoid renting any more vacation properties thru Poole or those that use Gleam Team housekeeping."

"Communication was poor with property management. The “new” elevator stopped working second day we were there. Mold on the ceiling in the living area. Sliding glass door would not lock. Washer and dryer did not work well. At least 2 cycles each time to clean and dry."

"Location was nice. Only one operational elevator during our stay. Room was very small. Property was clean, but there did appear to be some kind of mold on the cieling. Beach access was nice but the beach is very narrow in this location. Overall not a terrible stay but wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone I know for the cost."

"The unit needs some serious attention along with the entire complex. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. Couch was the same the tv operations was completely out of wack. We packed are tennis racquets because the place is called Gulf Shores Surf & Racquet Club the tennis courts had no nets and grass was growing on the asphalt. Only had one elevator working out of 4 spent a lot of unnecessary time waiting on elevators. Some sort of black stuff growing on closet and bathroom ceilings. If I could post pictures I would. I could keep going hopefully you get the end result here…. find somewhere else to stay! ️ ️"

"The location is directly across from the beach access so it was easy to get to and that was nice. One elevator did make a funny noise once in a while but it seemed to be in good working order. I would recommend to bring Damp Rid. This condo holds moisture and the floors will be wet with out it. Other than that, It was a nice place to stay."

"The condo is as gorgeous as the pictures. The room was clean and well stocked. The biggest complaint we had was, everything stuck to the "non-stick" fry pan. Cooking bacon and eggs was a challenge. Time for a replacement. The bed and furniture was comfortable and the A/C blew very cold. There is a great view of the pool and sound on the door side. There is an unobstructed view of the Gulf from the living room and balcony. Crossing to the beach was very easy. Traffic is light in this area. The walk is very short, and the building has its own private access. The building has docks and a private boat launch on the sound. The parking lot is boat trailer friendly. We brought kayaks on a trailer and had no issues. There is a small beach for kayak launching so you don't need the boat ramp for kayaks. It is a short paddle to the cut to the Gulf. Watch the tides. During an incoming tide, the cut is clear as paddling in a swimming pool. A MUST see to swim, paddle, and play. We go to the area often, I think we have found our new favorite condo"

"The entire experience regarding our stay was excellent. We Googled "condos for rent in Gulf Shores" and found the VRBO website, from there found the specific listing for 606A. Price was reasonable, online booking process was simple, and the aftercare by the management company was excellent. Check-in at management company was quick, as was check-in at the property. Unit was EXACTLY as the photos depicted (wife chose the unit just for the bathroom sink, of all things). We definitely will be back to GS, and will try to stay in the same unit."

"Our family stayed in condo 606A for 7 nights over Spring Break 2018. We had a fantastic time, the condo is very clean & comfortable. It is decorated very nicely, the frammed photography was very unique & interesting, beautifully done. The balcony & view of the ocean is absolutely stunning! My husband & I spent a large part of each day relaxing, drinking coffee, eating meals & even napping out there. The condo has everything you need. I really loved the washer & dryer amenitiy. The queen sized bed was very comfortable as well as the pillows. Our kids slept comfortably on the pullout sofa. The kids & my husband loved the huge flat screen TV & watched Netflex every night. The pool was clean, the kids enjoyed it as well as the hot tub. We played tennis with the kids, racquets & balls available to use. The beach is just a short walk across the street. This was the icing on the cake. The beach was Amazing! So clean, lots of seashells to find, the weather was gorgeous all 7 days, we are so happy we decided on this location & condo. "Awesome! The condo was great the pics we had seen were exactly what it looked like the manager at the property was very helpful about restaurants in the area. Everyday the pool was cleaned and it was just a short walk to the beautiful beaches. Already planning on coming back next year!"

"My wife and I stayed for 2 week in this unit after it was remolded. We enjoyed our stay so much that we booked it again for the spring. It was clean and very well decorated. The giant TV was nice to watch Netflix, but we mostly enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching the dolphin in the morning with our coffee or the evening over dinner. The sunset are amazing to watch from the pier on the lagoon side. The complex is away from all the busyness of the traffic but close enough to every activity or store. We walked on the beach at mid morning and used the pool and hot in the afternoon and evening. We kayak in the lagoon and fish off the pier sometimes. A very unexpected pleasure of a vacation. We were extremely satisfied with the unit and all the amenities that were available. This was truly the best little secret we have found for a restful and enjoyable vacation. Highly recommend the area and the unit for anyone's vacation or just a short getaway."
