Shoalwater Condominiums is awesome with plenty of amenities to enjoy including; an outdoor pool, indoor pool, outdoor kiddie pool, tennis courts, fitness room, grilling area, outdoor shower, indoor hot tub and fantastic boardwalk to the beautiful Gulf of Mexico. Location is great as well, close to shopping, dining, and lots of fun in the sun. "Our family of 8 loved this unit! The separation of the master and living areas from the kids bedrooms allowed us our “own” space when we needed it. The balcony was our favorite place to hang out. It provided privacy from neighbors and sturdy furniture. The beach access is literally like walking to the end of your driveway. The unit provided oversized carts to make it easy transporting luggage and groceries to and from the unit. Easily accept restaurants, Walmart and dollar general. Easy parking."

"Great unit, plenty of space. Location was ideal, right in the middle of the main strip but easy to get anywhere. Parking was easy and the amenities (pools, hot tubs, sports courts) were great. Beach was easily accessible! We loved our stay and will definitely be back!"

"We loved the roomy condo! It was clean and the beds were very comfortable! The only downsides were there is no ice machine for the fridge but we found some ice trays to make it. The dishwasher did not work and the tvs were hard to figure out bc there was no guide or smart tv features. Other than those few things, the condo was nicely decorated and the beach access amazing! We loved our stay!"

"The stay was everything! A home away from home. The view was perfect the condo was so beautiful just as I saw on the app & this is a place That I would not mind staying again and the only small problem was a few sockets didn't work but simple fix we unplug the lamp to charge our phones but just as we came in that's how we left it as we check out except I forgot to put away the pots that was in the dish washer after cleaning them but it was a very nice place to stay & relax on the balcony watching the beach as the sun rise the view it was amazing & my kids enjoyed every bit of it so thanks so much for everything cause it was our first family vacation ever ️ ️ ️"

"The photos make it look very nice. It’s not. Besides changing the sheets and vacuuming, nothing has been cleaned in some time. The dryer vent was so clogged, the dryer wouldn’t dry. We fixed that. I refused to empty the canister in the vacuum, but it doesn’t wrk bc it’s so dirty. The remote to one tv was missing, the other didn’t wrk. My sister was able to fix the tv which wasn’t working at all when we arrived. A maintenance guy came, shrugged his shoulders and we nvr saw him again. If they cared, it could be nice-ish but since they don’t, it’s on the way to total trash."

"What a great find. We booked last-minute, and from the second we did, the communication and service from Beach Getaways was exceptional. The condo location is perfect, just steps from the beach. The pictures listed do not do it justice. The view of the ocean from the large size balcony is breathtaking, and being on a high floor enhanced it. The Condo was a lot larger inside than we expected, very spacious. It was just two of us, but it could easily and comfortably accommodate a larger group or family. Furnishings were nice and modern, kitchen had everything we needed. There is both an outdoor pool that overlooks the ocean, and a separate indoor pool that has a workout facility. When we arrived there was a nice gentleman at the guard shack. He was so nice and helpful and took the time to welcome us and give us a quick rundown of the facilities. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend this unit. Thanks again to the staff for the great communication and hospitality."

"We enjoyed being right on the beach, of course. Access was easy. The entire property was spotless and beautiful, from pool to landscaping to walkways. I didn’t cook one time, so I could not speak to much in the kitchen other than storage.:) The only complaint we had was the fact that walkway lights shine bright into the guest bedroom, even with the blinds closed. A nice upgrade to the unit would be blinds that really darken the rooms at night. Thanks for a great stay!"

"The entire building was under construction. The construction worker showed up early and we’re extremely loud. There is dust and debris everywhere! This was not properly listed on the listing. We could not use any of the public facilities including the pool and outdoor spots near the pool due to the construction on every tower."

"We loved this property. The interior has recently been redone and was very nice (updated since the pictures on the site). The condo is just steps away from the beach and has a great view of the Gulf. The balcony has some really nice heavy duty chairs and a table for enjoying the view. We ate breakfast out there several mornings. The location is just minutes away from restaurants and grocery stores. We had a great meal one evening at GT's and enjoyed hand dipped ice cream from Sweet Cone Alabama. On the last night we even BBQ'd on the grills by the pool. We would definitely stay here again."

"My family stayed here the week of July 4th. There were 9 of us and this unit was a perfect fit since the couch folded out into a bed for the kids. T The rooms were nice and clean. There were 3 sliding glass doors with very nice furniture on the patio. Beach front view to sit out for hours and watch the waves while the kids slept. A short walk to the beach and nice clean pool area. Nice restaurants nearby. I would definitely stay there again!"

"We stayed 2 weeks in this unit and it was wonderful. The beach area is my favorite area now. The dolphins would swim by almost every morning. There was a sea turtle nest on our walk to the beach. Some minor things would be a more thorough cleaning as in the baseboards and we had trouble finding outlets that worked. Other than that, we had an event free 2 weeks, just relaxation.
